We say to allow 5-10 days for any custom-made badgeorder that can be placed through our site (up to 10,000 badges).
Example, if you order on the 1st of the month, your order will go in the mail sometime between the 5th and the 10th. At times our turnaround is faster, but if you allow for 10 days plus shipping time you will definitely have your order.   Obviously if you order 25 badges, we can have them out to you the next day, so it's all just a bit of common sense really!
If you have a specific deadline that's cutting it close do make us aware of it in the "comments/special instructions" section of your order form or call us. Your deadline is truly important to us.
Machines, parts, and accessories, once packaged and shipped, will take 2-5 days.
One out of our hands, shipping times vary depending on your geographic location. 1-3 days is a safe assumption.

Yes, we want to get you your buttons when you need them. If it can be done, it will be.

Yes!  As many as you like, up to a certain point.  10 designs per 100 is as high as we will go, otherwise we will have to charge extra for set-up fees.  Just get in contact with your idea, and we can make it happen efficiently. 

How do I get you my artwork? 

Be sure you read our Artwork Guidelines and your files were prepared properly.  On each page, there are upload bars situated for you to directly upload your artwork straight to us.  You can use the templates provided, or simply send us the raw file.  Multiple designs need to be compressed as either .ZIP or .RAR format.  If you need help with artwork, The Glow Media can certainly help you out of that pickle!

I'm having trouble with the upload bars for my order, what can I do?

Call us.  We can help you through the process.
Artwork may also be e-mailed to art@thebadgefactory.com.au.  Just reference your Order number in the subject line or body of the e-mail.
If your artwork files are too large or time consuming to upload, you could always FTP them to your own server and send us a link to art@thebadgefactory.com.au We'll download your art, or call us and we'll give you a generic Badge Factory FTP address to put them up to. You will need an FTP application of some sort. 

 

Print resolution (300dpi) .tif, .psd, .eps, .pdf, .ai, .jpg.bmp, pretty much any file that is a picture.
The Artwork Guidelines page has everything you need to know, please read it. If you're a seasoned designer none of this will be foreign to you. If you're new or a beginner or amateur we feel we have done a pretty extensive job of giving you the tools you'll need to succeed with our templates and step by step instructions.

I don't have Photoshop or Illustrator, how can I send my art? 

You can send us the raw file and we will take care of the rest.  Follow the basic points on the Artwork Guidelines page.

Indeed.  If it is simple pictures and text you are after, contact us with your ideas, and we will be more than happy to work out a basic cost for this service.  If you require something a little more intricate, contact the All-in-One design geniuses at The Glow Media.  They can do the whole package, from badge designs, shirt designs and printing, CD art and manufacturing, even a website as good as this one!

How are your shipping rates calculated?

Shipping costs are calculated by using the weight of your items and your postcode.

How can I find out how much the shipping is for my order before I place my order?

Just add the items to your cart and click on the “checkout” button. If you would like to remove items from your cart you would just click the box on the left and click the “update” button. If you do not have an account, please sign up so you can take advantage of the shipping calculator. The shipping methods and costs are given before any payment information is needed.

Why do you need my phone number and email address?

Reason #1 - We will call you and/or email you if we need to verify your order. Many customers choose the wrong parts for their machine, so if you are new to The Badge Factory, we will use your contact information to make sure your order is not delayed.
Reason #2 – You will receive emails from The Badge Factory when your order is “Ready to Ship” and when it has “Shipped”.
Reason #3 – If a payment is declined we will contact you so your order is not delayed. In most instances, customers will accidentally mistype a number.
Reason #4 – Most importantly if orders look suspicious we will email or call to verify the order. “Suspicious” would include shipping large orders to a different state or city other than the billing address. We reserve the right to hold orders until contact is made with the card holder.
Reason #5 – If you go through the checkout and leave items in your cart we will also contact you via email. This email is to ensure that you were satisfied with your shopping experience. Any feedback from our customers is appreciated. We love the advice, we really do!

Who do you use to ship?

We use Australia Post for orders under 500 grams, and Fastway Couriers for everything over 500 grams.  Please contact us if you need another method of postage. 

Tracking information is emailed from The Badge Factory automatically when the label is attached to your package. Due to spam filters you might not receive the tracking information. If you do not receive your tracking information you can email us at sales@thebadgefactory.com.au

I never received my order, are you going to send me a replacement?

We send all our packages either Express Post or via Fastway Couriers, so everything is completely trackable and traceable.  If you don't receive your order, we will find it.

I make badges and sell to the public.  Can I buy from your site Wholesale?

Certainly!  Email us with your details, and we will set up a wholesale account for you which entitles you to a healthy discount, on the provisor that you meet our account guidelines.
